Description

The Classic C melody mouthpiece was modeled after the original mpcs from the 20s but has a brighter sound from the same large chamber. Nice even wave form throughout the range. The great C mel sound without the muted effect or the bad taste. Some have tried this on vintage alto's and say it improves the intonation and sounds warmer and fatter than the modern alto mpcs. Sounds more like the Alto jazz greats of last century. Looks right, feels right, sounds right and costs less. Made in quality hard rubber (ebonite)to now fit any C mel. # 5 Has a 2mm tip opening. Choose from a Nickel silver plated cap or a lacquered brass cap if you have a gold C mel.
